1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MadeinGolf ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MadeinGolf is a golf tournament management platform that allows users to:

Create and manage golf tournaments and casual games
Enter and track scores in real-time
View live leaderboards and standings
Manage handicaps using the World Handicap System
Connect with other golfers
Access course maps and GPS features

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Submit false or misleading information
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Use automated systems to access the App without permission
Manipulate scores or standings fraudulently

5. Content and Data

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you submit (scores, photos, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it within the App.

Score Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of scores you enter. Tournament organizers may modify or reject scores that appear incorrect.

Public Information: Your name, handicap, and scores in tournaments/games are visible to other participants.

6. Handicap Calculations

MadeinGolf uses the World Handicap System (WHS) for handicap calculations. While we strive for accuracy, handicap calculations in the App are for informational purposes. For official handicap indexes, please refer to your national golf association.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by MadeinGolf and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., map providers, device integrations). Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS. USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MADEINGOLF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, SCORES, OR HANDICAP INFORMATION.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@madeingolf.com.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
